Production:The figs used for the syrup are picked from our privately owned estate during the month of August. The estate at the moment is under Organic Certification process. The final product is produced under strick health standards using a traditional technique and an old recipe which has been running in our family for many generations back. It is 100% pure, extracted from figs and not by mashing, and in order to maximize the gourmet flavor, certain natural herbs have been added during the boiling stage.
Packaging:Packaged and sealed by hand with no machine involved in the production process under strict hygiene standards. Is supplied in a luxury packaging with glass container of 270g net weight content, and a 1000g bottle for the high gastronomy Ho.Re.Ca market.
After shipment, it is possible that some brown foam may appear on surface of the syrup, and therefore storage of several hours is needed in order to ease off such condition.Please store in dry and cool place, and especially away from excsessive heat. We recommend that the storage area is between 15 and 20 degrees. The product is 100% natural, with no additives, sugar, or preservatives. In case you wish to increase the volume of the syrup – and/or minimize the flavor- we recommend warm water is added. Please avoid mixing with cold or hot water which may result to spoil flavor quality.
